At Process Treatments our cutting fluids are developed with the following considerations in mind:
To assist with the removal and cooling of hot chips from the cutting zone and to keep dust and small particulates in the liquid rather than in the air.
To reduce arrest rewelding at the tool edges
To provide interstage corrosion protection
To help with extending tool life and productivity
High levels of lubrication to reduce frictional heat on the flank and rake face of the tool
To assist reducing oil mist
Substantial rejection of tramp oil (99% when using our fully synthetic metalworking fluids)
CHOOSING THE CORRECT PRODUCTS
Selecting the correct product for the application is key to meeting the above requirements. Therefore, product selection includes evaluating lubricity performance before submitting the product to the field. Evaluation for lubricity consists of a Tapping Torque Test which to date is the only bench scale metal cutting test available.

They are products of choice where clean fluids with long tank life and good lubrication are needed.
