With anticipated restrictions placed on the use of certain biocides in cutting fluids, there are concerns on whether alternative biocides will offer the same level of protection which may lead to users adding more tank side additives to the machine coolant or machines will be cleaned out more frequently. The latter will increase production and down time costs not forgetting the impact on the environment as disposal costs will increase. The other concerns is that machines may not be cleaned out which may endanger the health of workers using the cutting fluid
Our granted Patent Metal Working Fluid Decontamination Unit (MWFDU) has been designed to address this problem by providing an effective method to disinfect our fully synthetic metal working/cleaning fluids.
Field tests have proven that the MWFDU is capable of reducing bacteria levels by 10log3 CFU/ml (99.9% reduction)
The system can either be mobile or fixed unit depending on the application and incorporates pH monitoring and adjustment
